However, the Task Force is aware that there are many unusual and potentially frustrating situations that can arise during the processing or management of a client's care and claims.
In such a case, the following are the suggestions of the Task Force.
- Through your own association, contact your representative (they are listed on the Home Page) and inform them, preferably in writing with as much detail as you can provide, as to what the problem is. They will keep a log and work on your behalf as your association should. In addition, they will bring the issues to the Task Force so that a group effort can be created.
- Contact the Chair of the Task Force ( ) and inform her, in writing, with as much detail as you can provide as to what the problem is. Also include your association membership so that she can inform the Association of the issue if you have not so. She will keep a file on issues to help the Task Force create a formal submission to the government working groups on the massage therapist's issues.
If you know of others having difficulties, get them to do either 1 or 2 above. It is the actions of individuals that create the possibility of change. Thank you for your help.
